Virginia Tech jumped out to a 4-0 lead and that was where the game may as well have ended for the Hokies. Duke went on an 11-0 run, eventually stretching the lead to 48-28 at the half on their way to an impressive 88-56 dismantling of the lowly Hokies.

Duke scored two solid wins this week behind the play of their two senior stars, Mason Plumlee and Seth Curry. Plumlee was a relative non-factor against Florida State, but his 32 points against Wake Forest keyed the victory. Curry, on the other hand, scored 21 points in both games while shooting 6-of-13 from three-point range.

What a difference one game can make. After shooting just 2-of-14 from three on Wednesday against Wake Forest and riding Mason Plumlee to their first road win, Duke flipped the script to get a blowout, 79-60, win over Florida state behind an 11-for-18 mark from three and just eight points from Plumlee.
