While we wait for more to emerge on the status of Seth Curry‘s left ankle, the verdict on Ryan Kelly‘s foot seems to be a bit more clear cut. CBS’s Seth Davis went on at halftime of Sunday’s Michigan-Ohio State game and made comments about the future of the forward’s season.
Seth Curry has been one of Duke’s best players this season and his big-shot mentality helped bring Duke back on Saturday against N.C. State. But a late slip on what looked like a wet floor in Raleigh knocked Curry out of the game and has his immediate future in a bit of jeopardy.
The ACC season didn’t get off to the dream start that Duke and its fans wanted. Sure, the Blue Devils are 2-0 headed into the long-awaited matchup with preseason favorite NC State, but they will be doing so without the services of senior forward Ryan Kelly.

Basketball is a team sport that typically runs about 12 or 13 players deep, although just seven or eight make up what is referred to as the team’s “rotation.” Duke will already be without one rotation player in Marshall Plumlee and there is little to suggest Seth Curry is in any better shape.
