It was a great week to be a member of the Duke basketball team as the Blue Devils took on two of the ACC’s weaker teams in Virginia Tech and Boston College. The lower level of competition allowed Mike Krzyzewski to play his full stable of players and the freshmen took advantage by having some […]

Sorry for those of you who spent your Monday without the Rookie Report, but now that the internet issues have been sorted out we can get back to sorting out Duke’s freshman ballers. This was another up and down week for the Blue Devils as they scored a solid win over rival North Carolina before […]

He's a hard guy to miss. Jay Murphy stands 6-foot-9 and dwarfs all the dedicated Boston College fans whose hands he shakes as he finds his way to his courtside seat at Conte Forum. An Eagle legend, today is a special day for the Hall of Famer. Today his son, Alex, has come home.

The Duke Blue Devils once again finished a week of ACC basketball with a 2-0 record. That’s the good news. The bad news? After winning a statement game against N.C. State on Thursday, the Blue Devils laid a bit of an egg on the road at Boston College for one of the weirder two-game stretches […]

There really isn’t much to say about the effort Duke put forward against Miami on Wednesday night. After regaining the No. 1 ranking and getting almost a whole week of rest, the Blue Devils came out flatter than flat while the Hurricanes came out flying and hitting everything en route to a 90-63 blowout win.

This past week was an interesting one for Duke basketball’s fans and players. On the one hand, the Blue Devils took care of business at Clemson, but on the other they lost a key road game to N.C. State. They also saw an encouraging game from Amile Jefferson, but only because Ryan Kelly is injured.
