No.1 Indiana thumped Purdue to retain the top spot. No.2 Miami didn’t have it as easy. They barely squeaked by Virginia Tech on Sunday. It will be very interesting to see how things play out in the ACC tournament.

A few weeks ago it broke that Duke and North Carolina were starting to look at 2014 Mississippi guard Devin Booker. Now it seems that Booker will be visiting each school next weekend to watch each of Tobacco Road’s finest.

Former Duke Basketball Star Kyrie Irving Lights Up NBA All-Star Weekend With Three-Point Crown

Kyrie Irving wowed Duke fans for just 11 games during his lone year in Durham and he has continued that level of play in NBA. The Cleveland Cavaliers’ point guard made a statement on Saturday night by posting a 23-point round en route to a win in the 2013 Three-point Shooting Contest.

With 2.8 seconds left, Quinn Cook ran up court and heaved up a three pointer. From the looks of it, I thought there was going to be devastation at College Park, but Maryland held on to finish off the upset.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs ripped apart their conference foe Saint Mary’s. Gary Bell Jr., Kevin Pangos, and Kelly Olynyk led the Bulldog attack. Look for Gonzaga to be a dominant force come March Madness time.

The Blue Devils were losing all first half, but they came alive after half time. With Plumlee in foul trouble for a majority of the game, the rest of the Devils stepped up. Quinn Cook had a great game, being a solid floor general and delivering with 18 points.

Everyone remembers their first time….playing in a Duke/North Carolina game. That first time a player takes the floor in the greatest rivalry in college basketball is one that no freshman will every forget and Rasheed Sulaimon made sure his memory was a good one on Wednesday night.
