Seth Curry has been one of Duke’s best players this season and his big-shot mentality helped bring Duke back on Saturday against N.C. State. But a late slip on what looked like a wet floor in Raleigh knocked Curry out of the game and has his immediate future in a bit of jeopardy.
Curry was in the midst of a strong outing, making 8-of-16 shots (5-of-10 from three) for 22 points before leaving the court and never returning. The senior has been struggling with a right-leg injury since the preseason but this injury was to his left ankle and made all of Blue Devil nation hold their collective breath as the thought of losing another senior leader hung in the air.
However, from the initial reports it seems that Curry’s injury is nothing too serious.
As far as Seth Curry goes, #Duke coach K said that he slipped on a wet spot on his floor and hurt his left ankle. Separate from right shin

Losing Curry would not only be a blow to the offense, but also the collective psyche of the Duke team. He has been their go-to shooter and shot maker this season and without him out there, the offense looks without direction and Mason Plumlee looks one-dimensional.
