Duke 2013 commit Jabari Parker of Simeon Career Academy (Ill.) this past weekend as he appeared on national television in a loss to Kentucky commit, Dakari Johnson and Montverde Academy (Fla.) on ESPN2.
However, the nation’s No. 2 player wasn’t the only Duke commit to have a big weekend. Semi Ojeleye of Ottawa High (Kan.) exploded for a 57-point performance. The 6-foot-8 small forward outscored Paola High (Kan.) in a 77-30 victory over the weekend.
Ojeleye was one point short of his career high, which he dropped earlier this season. Scoring has been the consistent for Ojeleye this season, as he was averaging just under 40 points per game (39.5).
Back in early December, the Duke commit scored a career-high 58 points in a 102-29 win over Wray High (Colo.).
Parker and Ojeleye form a trio of Duke players for the Class of 2013 along with DeSoto High (Tex.) shooting guard Matt Jones.
