Duke should always be in the conversation for top recruits, especially when those players are wing prospects. It was reported on Thursday that the Blue Devils are now interested in a 2014 guard from Georgia named Ahmed Hill, currently the No. 23 player in ESPNU’s Super 60.
This was tweeted out by Shaun Wilhelmi and is yet to be confirmed, but his Rivals page reveals that the school has shown “medium” interest in Hill already so the rumor could have some traction.

At 6-foot-5 and with the ability to play several positions, Hill fits the mold of Duke players past and present. Much like Rasheed Sulaimon, both wing positions are options for the young man from Aquinas High School in Augusta.
Hill opened his junior season with 26-point, 16-rebound performance the other day and appears to be a player on the rise. He opened the season with a 33-point performance, which you can see in this video.
Like most years, Duke’s 2014 recruiting class is shaping up to be a strong one with players like Tyus Jones, Jahlil Okafor, Theo Pinson and Rashad Vaughn all considering a trip to Durham.
