The University of Maryland saga seems to be never ending.  The ACC according to the Associated Press is suing Maryland in hopes of receiving the full $50 million exit fee.

The exit fee was recently raised to $50 million in September.  Maryland and Florida State were the only two schools to vote against the new exit fee.

The ACC filed the lawsuit on Monday and ACC commissioner John Swofford released a statement saying that the league presidents unanimously decided, “to file legal action to ensure enforcement of this obligation.”

Maryland is set to begin Big 10 play in 2014.
