Newly minted Duke target Abdul-Malik Abu caused quite a stir when it broke that the Blue Devils and fellow Tobacco Road program North Carolina were interested in the young man. Well, another stir could be in the mix as one of his highly rated buddies says they could be a package deal.

Jared Terrell of New Hampshire’s Brewster Academy is a big, physical guard who can do a ton of things extremely well. After a solid performance at this weekend’s National Prep Showcase, Terrell told NEHoopNews.com’s Terrence Payne that he and his friend from Kimball Union could be a package deal.

“We’ve had the conversation about it before. We want the best situation for right,” said Terrell. “We’ll probably have the conversation again over the summer.”

North Carolina recently started showing interest in Terrell and Abu, possibly targeting the pair with this in mind. The two share plenty of schools, but with their recruitment still wide open their lists hardly mean anything at the moment.

Terrell is currently ranked No. 46 in the ESPN Super 60, right behind Abu who sits at No. 44.
