Posted on November 9, 2012 by

With two Duke targets coming off the board recently in Chris McCullough and Austin Nichols, the Blue Devils need to find some new players to take a look at. They have reportedly found one in Abdul-Malik Abu of Kimball Union Academy.

This information comes from Abu’s coach and’s Adam Zagoria.

A 6-foot-8 power forward, Abu’s recruitment heated up big time this summer while playing with Expressions Elite. He is a physical presence on the inside and is know for being an extremely tough, raw young man.

A Boston, Mass. native, he is also considering Boston College, UConn, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Maryland, UMass, Miami, Michigan State, Providence, URI, Rutgers, Seton Hall, St. Bonaventure, Temple and West Virginia.

North Carolina is also reportedly in the mix, this according to Terrence Payne of NEHoopNews and NBC Sports.
