Tyus Jones is the No. 1 player in the class of 2014 and that means that every major program in the country is after the young man, including Duke.
The point guard cut his list down to eight schools on Saturday, taking another step towards making a commitment. Getting Jones has become infinitely more important as it appears that he will be picking a school in conjunction with the No. 2 player, power forward Jahlil Okafor.
Jones announced his new list via his Twitter account (@TyusJones06)
I have officially narrowed my college choices to... Baylor, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State, UNC—

Jones’s recruitment will likely see a spike now that his list is a more focused one. Like many top players, however, he will take his time in making a choice so don’t expect to hear from Jones until April of his senior year.
